This is definitely not a true picture of me in my free time but only a hope for someday in the future!! I can't believe we are in the last two weeks of school. This has been a very different year and I am so grateful that we were able to stay in person all year!! These kids have grown so much, despite a lot of different circumstances. To celebrate all our growth, I would like to have a pizza party on Friday, the 4th in the afternoon, and was wondering if anyone is willing to pick up the pizzas from Little Caesar's in St. Joe? The time can be flexible! Please let me know if you can help. We are done with all our testing, phew! This Wednesday is the last late start of the year. Keep sending water bottles please! Hope you enjoyed the nice long weekend!! Monday - No School/Memorial Day Tuesday - P2 Shirts, Music, and Ice Cream Day Wednesday - Late Start, Media Center, and Hat Day Thursday - SEL and Game Day Friday - PE/Field Day, Pizza Party in the PM, and Flashlight Day Upcoming

Since we have finished our spring NWEA math & reading tests, I have asked the kids to bring home their green conference folders to share new data. Please have a "spring conference" with your child discussing the growth they made from fall to spring and compare where they scored to the 4th grade goal for each subject area. There is a place to sign inside the front cover of the folder when you're finished. I will be  planning a pizza party to celebrate all of their hard work...date TBD!!  Mostly everyone has finished the M-STEP math test and we will start the reading test on Wednesday. Gum or suckers are allowed for this test too. It will likely take them through Friday to complete. Thanks for all your help and support! Field Day will take place during the next three weeks of PE classes on Friday. Kids should be prepared to be outside and wear appropriate shoes to participate. The co-teacher will be with them during this time.  Have a great week! Volleyball Camp Link

Thank you so much for all the generous gifts last week!! I sure felt the love! We are going to take one more day to prepare and will start the math M-Step test on Tuesday. Kids can bring in mints, gum, or suckers again for testing. Kids are also allowed to bring in one snack a day. It was starting to become a problem, so we had to cut back to once a day. Also, please don't send bags of unpopped popcorn anymore.  As a class, we decided to have an ABC countdown to the end of the year. We are still completing this together but have Monday's choice ready to go. I will make sure they're simple - no need to go out to buy anything special! I will update the blog once our list is complete and each day's topic will be written in planners nightly. Have a very Happy Mother's Day!
