Thank you so much for signing student planners nightly! The kids are very excited for the party on Friday. I hope they have all communicated the item that they volunteered to bring. Please remember to keep costumes simple with no weapons(or look-alike weapons) and no distracting accessories. Students will be dressed up all day and we will be learning! I will be sending reminder emails about our virtual conferences later next week. In the email, I will include the link for the Google Meet. If your child needs to bring a school Chromebook home for the meeting, that will definitely be an option as long as it is returned the following day. In class, we will practice how to access the link for the meeting in Classroom and also how to lead the meeting. If you've never had your child tell you about his/her progress, you will be amazed!!  Monday, October 26 - Art Tuesday, October 27 - Music Wednesday, October 28 - Late Start & Media Center Thursday, October 29 - SEL Friday, October 3

Thank you for signing up for a conference! If you haven't signed up yet, please email me some dates & times that work for you. We will be having a Halloween party on Friday, October 30th at 2:15. If you are able to send in pre-packaged food/snacks/drinks, that would be great! Crafts, games, and other ideas are also welcome. Kids are allowed to dress in costumes all day so please make sure they're appropriate for the whole school day. It will definitely look different without parents this year, but I will make sure to take lots of pictures! Thank you for the quick response with extra snacks and cups!! The kids have seemed more prepared! We have finished with NWEA testing in reading and math. Your child will share his/her information and goals at conference time. I decided to wait to conference with you until November. I feel that I am still getting to know the kids academically so having more time with them is important. When choosing a time, please know that the conferences will be virtual and your child will need to be present to lead the conference. Of course, if the November days don't work for you, please let me know and we can find another time that works. Click here to sign up! We will be showing videos and talking about the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001, in social studies. All materials are appropriate for kids and will be referred back to throughout the year. Just wanted to give you a heads up so you can continue the discussion at home! This Week: Monday, October 5 - art Tuesday, October 6 - music
