We had another awesome week last week! In case you missed it, here is the link to the virtual back to school night I recorded. We are still waiting for our planners to arrive, so in the meantime, please sign the piece of paper labeled with the day's date in your child's home folder. It will help them remember to get their planners signed nightly once they get here and help with daily communication.  I feel like the kids have been able to get to know each other more and we are ready to start learning by jumping into some content this week. The only homework we ask kids to do is to read each night. They have been able to check out books so this should help!  Have a great week!! Monday - September 28 - art & finish NWEA math Tuesday - September 29 - music & finish NWEA reading  Wednesday - September 30 - media center Thursday - October 1 - SEL Friday - October 2 - PE Pictures from our first Daily 5 round of Read to Someone: Pictures from a team math game called Showdown t

Hello Parents, Our class had a wonderful first week! The district's "Phase-In" plan allowed us to take our time with the safety protocols and procedures. It allowed me to have more meaningful conversations with each student to get to know each one better. This next week we will continue to practice safety protocols and procedures as well as classroom routines and procedures. Below I have more information about things you and your child should know. Please make sure you scroll all the way through the blog and click on the hyperlinks, especially the READ MORE link. There is a great deal of new information.
